Our themes provide two portfolio grid modes. The following procedure shows you how to change portfolio grid mode.
- Fit Rows : Items are arranged into rows. Rows progress vertically. fitRows is ideal for items that have the same height.
- Masonry : Placing elements in optimal position based on available vertical space, sort of like a mason fitting stones in a wall.
Prerequisites
This tutorial assumes that you have already created a portfolio page and have created some portfolio items. For more information, see Creating a Portfolio Page.
To change portfolio grid mode
- Log into your WordPress site administration panel,
- Navigate to Pages, find your portfolio page and click on it.
- On your portfolio editing page, scroll down to the theme Page Options, and then choose Portfolio.
- Under Grid, choose Fit Rows (or Masonry) for Grid Mode.
